Offering some of the best views in Squamish, this neighbourhood is an extensive collection of well-established single family homes with private large lots all within a short driving distance to downtown. Quest university, the new state of the art liberal arts school is found in the new area of University Heights and offers spectacular views.

NORTH YARDS

It’s name stems from the fact that this neighbourhood is located at the North end of the Train Yard, which is still a large part of Squamish. Northyards is undergoing a massive transformation and is soon to be home to many new townhomes.

Walking / biking distance to downtown, the river and trail network, and of course the many new breweries and cideries, North Yards is taking on a whole new role in Squamish.

DENTVILLE

One of the original neighbourhoods in Squamish, Dentville is becoming the place to live. Located very near downtown, Dentville has a mix of older homes, carriage houses and newer built townhomes. With 3 schools within walking distance, it is becoming the neighbourhood of choice for young families. A quick stroll will have you at the endless estuary trail networks, or sipping a pint at Backcountry or A-Frame brewing. Maybe Cider is your choice, so hit up North Yards Cidery on your way.

A great little piece of Squamish history, Dentville is home to the Wilson Slough and the large ocean tributary that winds itself in behind the train tracks.

DOWNTOWN

The heart of Squamish, the downtown core has seen its share of new and old. From old farm style houses to new multiple unit residences, the downtown is still the hub of Squamish. Access to the ocean by way of the blind channel or nexen beach is a bonus of downtown living.

Proximity to independent restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and other professional businesses, etc, the Downtown has seen a tremendous amount of growth over the past few years and the expansion continues.

The Waterfornt, located at the southern end of downtown has just begun its development of both commercial and residential units and has been years in the making. Great trail network and access to ocean sports, paddleboarding, boating, kitesurfing, beachcombing, windsurfing, sailing, etc.

VALLEYCLIFFE

Located at the southern end of Squamish, right beside the infamous Squamish Chief, high on a cliff, Valleycliffe has a lot to offer. From amazing views of the Chief, Howe Sound and the surrounding mountains and glaciers, to an amazing trail network, climbing pitches and the wonderful Mamquam river, Valleycliffe truly has something for everyone.

The homes are a mix of new and old with lots of life being poured into them. An easy bike to downtown with the paved discovery trail, connects Valleycliffe with the rest of Squamish. Being at the southern end of Squamish also makes Valleycliffe ideal for commuters, as it is the closest neighbourhood to Vancouver.
